Aniimo Beginner Guide: 8 Decisions to Make Before You Spend Resources
A source-checked starting checklist for downloads, team roles, catching, evolution and multiplayer.
Start with decisions that can be checked against official data: use an official download, separate exploration abilities from combat roles, improve known catch factors and verify an evolution before committing resources. This guide does not invent a best starter, leveling route or spending priority.
1. Check your platform, region and account first
Use the official Aniimo website or the verified Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Epic listings. Store availability, mobile timing and account features can vary by platform and region, so confirm the live button before downloading or paying.
2. Confirm PC requirements before installing
The Epic Games Store publishes official minimum and recommended Windows specifications, including CPU, memory, GPU, DirectX and storage. Compare those requirements with your device instead of relying on an unverified compatibility list.
3. Do not choose a starter from an unsupported tier list
The official Wiki publishes element, role, stage and mobility fields, but those labels do not prove which Aniimo is strongest. Choose by the activity you need: damage, break, support, sustain, healing or an exploration ability.
4. Treat combat role and exploration ability separately
A role describes a combat function, while mobility and Twine fields help with traversal or interaction. Check both fields in the Dex before building a team around one label.
5. Improve only the catch factors that are confirmed
The official formula confirms that cube type, level difference, target HP, a valid backstrike and special status can change catch probability. AniimoDex does not assign a precise species percentage when the required template base rate is unpublished.
6. Verify the evolution family before spending
AniimoDex can show evolution-family relationships from the official index. Exact level, quest, item and resource requirements are not assumed unless an official source or reproducible test confirms them.
7. Separate multiplayer from cross-save
Steam confirms multiplayer, online co-op and cross-platform multiplayer, but that does not by itself confirm every platform pairing or cross-save behavior. Check the crossplay guide before planning progress across devices.
8. Be precise about rare forms
The official probability disclosure publishes Sparkling-related rates and the official data identifies form information where available. Community claims about Umbral eggs, guaranteed outcomes or evolution behavior remain unconfirmed until independently verified.
Still under verification: an optimal leveling path, home-base priority, Nurture guarantees, Egg Heist efficiency routes and a universal best team. Use community discussion to discover questions, not as proof of an answer.

The benefits include four free outfits through story missions, home gameplay and cumulative sign-in. The page does not publish a universal Android release date, a cross-progression statement, or current eligibility and claim deadlines for every launch benefit.

- Official Aniimo Wiki - 86 Basic Form records ↗
Rendered English Basic Form pages checked for all 86 directory entries: identity, artwork, elements, roles, six attributes, skills and their Type/Cost/Power parameters, traits, published habitats and mobility. Alternate forms are linked, not imported. Evolution image identities are resolved only against indexed artwork; six unresolved trees are excluded from family comparisons. Existing local routes are preserved by exact English name, never by changed official number.
- Aniimo Official Probability Disclosure ↗
The official disclosure publishes the three catch scenarios (outside battle, in battle and defeated target), the region-stage base rate table for evolution stages 1-3, the level-difference, cube, HP, backstrike and special-status coefficients, the min/max status stacking rule, the two-square-root resolution for a standard cube on a normal target, and additional drop and sparkling-style tables. It also states that the base rate is decided by each Aniimo template and is not derived from level, which means per-species template rates are not published.
