Aniimo Progress & Account Safety: What to Do Before You Switch Devices
A source-checked checklist for missing progress, device changes, reward claims and account recovery without assuming cross-save exists.
Aniimo has official reports about lost progress, reward claims and switching from PC to mobile, while a complete cross-save and account-transfer policy is still not published. Preserve evidence and verify the exact account, server and character before changing devices, reinstalling or making another purchase.
Steam account switching: what should I check first?
Distinguish the Steam account, the linked Aniimo UID/email, and the selected region/server. Before changing anything, privately record all three and the expected character. If the UID is wrong or a character looks absent, stop before creating a replacement or unlinking. The published relink support route is not a self-service account-switching or cross-save workflow.
What if Steam says my email is already linked to another game?
The official launch FAQ associates this specific message with data conflicts from earlier tests and links an Aniimo Beta Test Reward Steam Account Linking Survey. This is distinct from the lost-progress account-choice survey and the Steam/PSN/Xbox relink ticket. Open the official FAQ from Sources to check its current survey link; if unavailable, contact official support. Do not assume every linking error has the same cause or provide account details to community forms.
Where should I send account evidence?
Use Menu > Support or F10, the official Support Center linked in Sources, or aniimo_support@aniimo.com if the game cannot open. Send UID, email, receipts and logs only through official private support. AniimoDex does not recover accounts or collect these details. The historical 72-hour survey target is not a current guaranteed response time.
Linking-error FAQ rechecked October 11, 2026; recovery and relink announcements retain their original dates. No recovery outcome or survey availability was tested.
What should I do if Aniimo progress looks missing?
Do not create over the existing character, unlink an account, reinstall repeatedly or make a replacement purchase first. Record the platform, region, server, character name, approximate last successful login, game version and any error. Keep platform receipts and screenshots, then use the official support route for account-specific recovery.
Which official recovery case matches me?
| Situation | Official next step |
|---|---|
| You created a new character after progress disappeared | Use the account-choice survey sent to the registered email; official support stated a 72-hour processing target after submission |
| You did not create a new character | The official post says the original progress should already be restored; contact support if it is still missing |
| The character appears on another region | Switch back to the server region originally used before treating the progress as deleted |
| No survey, reply or restored progress | Send UID, login email, log file and server region to official support |
Before switching from PC, console or mobile
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Account identity | Use the same official account and confirm the sign-in prompt before proceeding |
| Region and server | A different region or server can make a character appear absent without proving deletion |
| Character selection | Confirm the expected character before starting new-game or tutorial flows |
| Current client version | Update through the official launcher or storefront before diagnosing a sync issue |
| Purchase records | Keep the storefront receipt; do not repeat a purchase while its delivery state is unclear |
Does Aniimo officially confirm cross-save?
No complete official cross-save, cross-progression or paid-currency transfer matrix is registered for this site. Cross-platform multiplayer does not prove that saves, rewards, achievements or purchases move between PC, console and mobile.
What is officially documented for a PC-to-mobile reward problem?
The September 23 official update says that players unable to claim a Link Without Borders reward after logging in on PC and then immediately on mobile should log in again once. This is a reward-claim workaround, not confirmation of universal cross-save or account transfer.
What if I am disconnected or see a black or red screen?
Official patch notes acknowledge frequent disconnects and reconnections, plus black-screen and red-screen reports. For a black screen, update the graphics driver, try switching between DX11 and DX12, and disable DLSS and Frame Generation on the login screen. For a red screen, the official temporary workaround is to set graphics quality to Performance mode. These steps address display and connection reports, not missing-account recovery.
What should a useful support report include?
- Platform, storefront account, region, server, character name and game version
- The time the problem began, exact error text and steps that reproduce it
- Screenshots or video, plus original purchase receipts when a reward or purchase is involved
How do I request an official Steam, PSN or Xbox relink?
Dev Dispatch Vol. 1 directs players to Customer Support > Quick Support Links > Account Issues > Steam Relink (PSN/Xbox). Include the platform ID, current UID and linked email, the UID to unlink, and the platform linked to that UID. Do not self-unlink or overwrite the character while the ticket is pending.
Last official-source check: October 4, 2026. This guide avoids claiming that a particular action restores progress, because recovery depends on the affected account and official support verification.

- Aniimo Support - Solution for the Lost Progress Issue ↗
The official developer-pinned support post attributes affected account bindings to a data-sync error during a website entity and domain migration. It separates players who created a new character, those who did not, and cases caused by selecting another server region; it states a 72-hour survey-processing target and requests UID, login email, log file and server region when recovery is still needed.
- Aniimo Support - Steam Launch FAQ & Bug Reports ↗
Developer-pinned FAQ, last edited September 19. It documents Menu > Support / F10 reporting; disabling Steam Input for controller issues; graphics troubleshooting; update prompts; log filenames; beta email-linking conflicts; error107 fixed in 1.0.3551601.0; and a November Steam Deck compatibility plan. The Proton 10.0.0-4 workaround is community-origin advice republished by the developer, not a tested compatibility guarantee. Reading this historical FAQ does not verify live server status or completion of planned fixes.
